Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas this year! After we got home from Grandma and Grandpa's we all got a turn on Santa's lap. We decided this was a LOT better than going to the mall and waiting in a huge line just to get the Santa picture. We got up the next morning and opened our presents and then had breakfast (well, I guess it was brunch considering the boys didn't wake us up until 10!) I made a baked omelette casserole which was a hit, especially with Spencer:)

Family Christmas Parties

We got together with my dad's side of the family for an early Christmas party at my aunt Becky's house. It was so nice of her to host the party this year even with her broken foot (18 screws and 2 plates!) Then, on Christmas Eve we went to the annual party at Grandma and Grandpa Williams' house. It was fun as always! We ate tons of great food and had a lot of fun together!

I'm Back!

Last week we had the Williams family over for a birthday lunch at our house for all of the birthdays since November. It was fun to see everybody and we missed those that couldn't come. My mom did a cute job putting the whole thing together and the food was so good!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Yesterday was my dad's birthday. We all had a relaxing day together and then we went up to Park City for dinner at Loco Lizard. Then we came back and opened presents and had some amazing cupcakes that Ashley made. I am so lucky to have such a great dad! We love you! Hope you had a great birthday Dad!

A change of plans...

So I had originally decided I was going to take a few classes this summer but at the last minute I decided to take the summer off from school after such a crazy semester last semester. Because it is so competitive to get into the business program, I would have had to retake a few classes over the summer and next fall and apply again. I have been feeling so burned out on school lately and am definitely feeling ready to be done! I thought about choosing a new major but didn't want to have to completely start over again because I have already taken so many business classes. After reevaluating things, I have decided to major in economics and maybe do a minor in business. Because economics is so closely related to business, all of the classes I have taken so far fit into a slot and I will actually end up being able to take this summer off and then only have eight more classes to take in economics and four more in business (if I decide to do the minor). Which means I will graduate either next May or at the end of next fall. This sounds ALOT better to me and I am very excited to finally have a definite plan and have things all figured out!
Because I am not going to school this summer, I decided to find a summer job (don't worry Jodee I will still have time to come play with Avery:) I got a job at the Sports Mall today and I will be working at the front desk. I am excited to be working there because I know everybody and it is always such a fun atmosphere there during the summer.

New Project!

So now that finals are over Ashley and I decided we wanted to do a fun, new project. We have been wanting to do something different to hang on the walls next to our beds. We decided we wanted to find a bunch of our favorite pictures of us together from when we were little and scan them in black and white and put them all in frames and then hang them in sort of a cluster. I think we were inspired by Jodee's wall in her room downstairs:) It was so much fun looking through all of the old pictures and I wanted to share a couple of my favorites. We went to T.J. Maxx today and found a bunch of cute frames. I will post pictures once we get it all finished!

Sophie

So I was looking at some of my old posts and I realized I haven't ever really posted any pictures of Sophie. She is the little baby in our family and everyone definitely treats her like she is! She really is quite the spoiled little princess! We all love her though (even Spencer, although he doesn't like to admit it!) and she gets ALOT of attention from everyone! She really is our little baby and I think we may have spoiled her too much! I don't think very many people have gotten a chance to see her so I thought I would post a few pictures.

Chef in the Making!

Spencer is in two tennis tournaments this week and had matches all afternoon today in Provo. While him and my mom were gone Colton was feeling a little bored and didn't have anything to do so I asked him if he wanted to help me make Snickerdoodle cookies. Actually, he ended up making them all by himself! He read the recipe, measured everything, used the mixer, and rolled the dough in the cinnamon without any help. All I did was get them out of the oven! It was so fun watching him figure it out! He was pretty proud of himself, wasn't bored anymore, and had a treat to enjoy! Tyler was pretty happy too!

An Early Valentines Surprise!

So this afternoon I was just doing some homework and the doorbell rang. When I looked outside there were two bunches of roses and two cards from Dantley. Since Dantley is living in St. George right now to train for the next few months, it was definitely a BIG suprise! He is always so thoughtful and SUCH a good friend to me!

Twin Blog: No More!

So Ashley and I have decided maybe it is time to go our separate ways (at least in the blogging world!) I'm keeping this blog and Ashley started her own! You can get to it from the link on my sidebar. For some reason I think maybe I'll be better at posting more often if I have my own blog... or maybe not. We'll see i guess!

Happy Birthday Colton!

Today was Colton's 9th birthday! I can't believe he is 9 already! he is growing up SO fast! We decided to celebrate it with our family yesterday. He decided he wanted to go to Citris Grill and then bowling after. We all had a great time hanging out together and you know Colton, he always makes it a party! Colton ended up beating all of us, along with his killer dance moves. Haha love that kid! But in my defense, Ashley and Spencer and I didn't have bumpers on our lane! Sorry Spencer... I guess Black Beauty let you down!

Here's Colton dancing! So funny!

Tonight we had cake and ice cream and Colton opened his presents. Ashley and I got him a new green camera. He loves it! He can't stop taking pictures of everyone and everything, especially Sophie! I'm starting to worry she might go blind though from all the flashing! He had a great birthday and still has his friends party on Wednesday at RockReation.

Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!

We had such a great Christmas this year! It's always so much fun to go over to Grandma and Grandpa's on Christmas Eve. It's something we definitely look forward to every year! There have been plenty of posts about it so I don't think we need to remind everyone how fun it was! We got to see cute Avery and give her a little present! She even gave us one too! (We love the perfume! You have good taste Avery!) We love getting to watch her and we are so grateful to Jodee for trusting us and letting us come hang out with her! We always look forward to it so much!

After we get home from Grandma and Grandpa's we get new pajamas (that the elfs left for us while we were gone:) and my mom takes pictures in front of the tree.
Christmas morning was so fun! We are lucky to have the little boys around becaue it is so fun to see how excited they get! I got a new laptop which I was so excited about! It will be so nice to have for school! Ashley got a new camera and an ipod touch. Colton was so excited to give my mom a cutting board that he made for her at scouts. It was so cute! Our family gift was Rock Band. The boys have had SO much fun playing it over the break! It's funny because each of them has their instrument that they're good at. Tyler likes the guitar, Spencer is good at the drums, and Colton is the only one in our family that isn't tone deaf so he is the designated singer and he's great at it!
